Overview

This policy explains how Access Free Tools handles information when you use our calculators, converters, blog guides, advertising, affiliate links, and other site features. It is written for the public website at accessfreetools.com.

Browser-first tools

Most tools run in your browser. Calculator history, random number results, and similar temporary tool outputs stay in the current browser tab while you use the page and are not sent to a server by these tools.

Browser text-to-speech MP3 pilot

The text-to-speech pilot reads pasted text or a TXT file you open locally, runs the speech model, and creates MP3 audio inside your browser. Access Free Tools does not receive or store the text, the local filename, or generated audio. The temporary generated-audio URL disappears when the browser tab is closed or refreshed. Fixed voice samples contain only a public comparison sentence and do not use text you enter.

After you choose to load the model, the browser downloads pinned model and voice files from Hugging Face. Those requests can expose ordinary network request information to Hugging Face, but they do not contain your text. The pilot records only bounded, text-free actions such as voice sample played, model ready, generation complete, cancellation, download, timeout, model-download failure, unsupported browser, and generation failure.

Information we may collect

We do not currently offer user accounts or payment checkout on Access Free Tools. We may receive basic technical information through hosting, security, browser requests, and privacy-aware analytics, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, tool actions, referring pages, dates, approximate technical request details, and session-quality signals. This helps keep the site working, secure, and useful.

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you choose to submit. The form sends that message to our site email so we can read it and reply. Do not submit passwords, bank details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information.

Cookies and local storage

The color look you choose is saved in your browser's local storage so the site can remember your preferred style on future visits. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

We use local storage to remember an anonymous visitor ID and session storage for an anonymous tab-session ID used by simple first-party analytics. This helps us see which tools are actually used, how many visitors are new or returning, and which pages need improvement. Analytics page paths do not include query strings or fragments. We do not save raw IP addresses in the analytics event log; technical request details are hashed or summarized before storage.

Advertising, affiliate tracking, third-party analytics, or consent tools may use cookies, web beacons, local storage, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies. You can usually control cookies in your browser settings, but some site features may work less smoothly if cookies or local storage are disabled.

First-party analytics

Access Free Tools may collect simple first-party analytics events, such as page views and tool actions like calculate, convert, generate, copy, or check. These events are used to understand which tools are useful, spot broken pages, improve internal links, and decide what to build next. We filter obvious bots and do not use this system to sell personal profiles.

Ask tool routing

When you use Ask Access Free Tools, the question you type may be sent to our hosted language-model provider so the service can select the most suitable Access Free Tools utility. The selected calculation or conversion is then run by deterministic tool code. Do not enter passwords, financial account details, medical records, or other sensitive information into Ask.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity on public site pages to understand how people move through the site, where pages are confusing, and whether layouts or tools are hard to use. Clarity may collect interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, page visits, device/browser details, and session replay signals under Microsoft's privacy terms.

Access Free Tools does not load Clarity on private admin or private analytics pages. The site also avoids loading Clarity when the browser has Do Not Track enabled or when this browser has the Access Free Tools analytics opt-out set in local storage.

Text, local-file, filename, model-status, voice-sample, and generated-audio surfaces in the text-to-speech pilot are masked from Clarity. We record only bounded, text-free events needed to understand whether the pilot works.

Clipboard actions

Some tools include copy buttons. These only write the result you choose to your device clipboard after you press the copy button.

Advertising and Infolinks

Infolinks advertising is not active because our publisher application was not approved. Its script does not load, including for visitors who previously allowed ads. If approved and enabled later with the required consent, InText could mark selected words with a double underline and show a sponsored ad. Infolinks and its advertising partners could then receive browser, device, network, approximate location, page, cookie, and ad-interaction data under their own policies.

We use Infolinks' supported page-boundary controls to keep its scanner out of private admin pages, APIs, tool inputs and results, Ask messages, contact forms, navigation, and the footer. Infolinks does not receive the private text protected inside those areas through this integration.

Google AdSense status

Google AdSense ads are not active. They will stay off until the account is approved, exact publisher and slot identifiers are configured, and a Google-certified consent platform is ready where required. If that changes, this policy will be updated before ads are enabled.

If AdSense is enabled later, the following applies. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on earlier visits to this or other websites. You can learn about Google's use of advertising cookies and review choices in Google Ads Settings. Additional industry choices are available at aboutads.info.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland consent

Infolinks is currently disabled for all visitors. Google advertising, if enabled later, will require a Google-certified Consent Management Platform for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland where required. Advertising stays off when a supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is present.

Affiliate links

Some future blog guides or product callouts may include affiliate links to third-party stores, such as print-on-demand products related to a tool. If you click an affiliate link and buy something, Access Free Tools may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may use their own cookies or tracking links and handle your information under their own privacy policies.

Third-party links and services

Our pages may link to third-party websites, ad networks, affiliate stores, documentation, source references, or product pages. We do not control those third-party services, and their privacy practices may be different from ours.

Google Preferred Sources

Indexable blog articles load Google's official Preferred Sources button fromnews.google.com. Loading the button may send ordinary request information, such as browser and network details, to Google. If you use the button or its settings link, Google handles your source preference under Google's privacy terms. The button does not receive text or results entered into Access Free Tools utilities.

Children's privacy

Access Free Tools is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Your choices

Advertising is currently disabled, regardless of any advertising preference saved earlier. Choose Ad choices in the footer to read the current status. You can also clear local storage and cookies, use the industry opt-out links above, avoid clicking ads or affiliate links, or contact us with privacy questions. If a form asks for personal information, submit only what is needed for that request.
