Overview

This policy explains how Access Free Tools handles information when you use our calculators, converters, blog guides, advertising, affiliate links, and other site features. It is written for the public website at accessfreetools.com.

Browser-first tools

Current tools run in your browser. Calculator history, random number results, and similar temporary tool outputs stay in the current browser tab while you use the page and are not sent to a server by these tools.

Information we may collect

We do not currently offer user accounts or payment checkout on Access Free Tools. We may receive basic technical information through hosting, security, browser requests, and privacy-aware analytics, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, tool actions, referring pages, dates, approximate technical request details, and session-quality signals. This helps keep the site working, secure, and useful.

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you choose to submit. The form sends that message to our site email so we can read it and reply. Do not submit passwords, bank details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information.

Cookies and local storage

The color look you choose is saved in your browser's local storage so the site can remember your preferred style on future visits. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.

We use local storage to remember an anonymous visitor ID and session storage for an anonymous tab-session ID used by simple first-party analytics. This helps us see which tools are actually used, how many visitors are new or returning, and which pages need improvement. Analytics page paths do not include query strings or fragments. We do not save raw IP addresses in the analytics event log; technical request details are hashed or summarized before storage.

Clipboard actions

Some tools include copy buttons. These only write the result you choose to your device clipboard after you press the copy button.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense or other advertising services to show ads on Access Free Tools.
